Telegram Enhances Stories Feature with Music, Reactions, and Channel Expansion

Telegram, the popular messaging platform, has continued to refine its Stories feature, introduced for premium users in July and later extended to all users in August. The latest updates bring exciting new capabilities to the Stories feature, enhancing the user experience.

One of the key additions is the ability to incorporate music into your stories. Users can now select tracks and seamlessly integrate them into their stories. This musical accompaniment adds depth and emotion to the visual content, creating a more engaging storytelling experience. What’s more, users have the option to retain the original audio if they prefer.

Another dynamic feature introduced is the ability to include reaction stickers in your stories. These reaction stickers allow users to express their emotions and responses with a single tap. Premium users can include up to five reaction stickers in a single story, while others have the option to add one reaction sticker per story. This feature adds an interactive element to stories, fostering engagement between creators and viewers.

Telegram has also introduced a view-once mode for sharing media, similar to what’s seen in WhatsApp and Instagram. This mode lets users send media that can be viewed only once. Once opened, the media is permanently deleted, and viewers are unable to save it or take screenshots. This privacy-focused feature ensures that sensitive content remains confidential.

In a move to bolster security, Telegram now sends login alerts to users whenever they log in from a new device. Users can review all the devices they are logged into for added transparency and control. Additionally, for enhanced security, users can enable two-step verification, adding an extra layer of protection to their accounts.

One of the most significant updates is the expansion of the Stories feature to Telegram Channels. Channels can now post stories, providing a new way for channel admins to engage with their audience. However, this feature relies on a boost from Telegram Premium users. Each Premium user can grant one boost to any channel, allowing channels to progress through different levels. With each level, channel admins can post an additional story per day. Users have the flexibility to choose which channels’ stories they wish to view.

These updates reflect Telegram’s commitment to delivering a dynamic and engaging user experience, providing users with more ways to connect, share, and communicate. Whether it’s through music, reaction stickers, or channel stories, Telegram continues to evolve and innovate its platform to meet the diverse needs of its global user base. Users can explore these features and enhance their Telegram experience by updating their app to the latest version.
