Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of its Xiaomi 14 series, scheduled for October 26, as previously confirmed by the company in a Weibo post. While Xiaomi has not officially disclosed the smartphones that will be part of this series, speculations suggest the lineup may comprise a standard Xiaomi 14 and a Xiaomi 14 Pro, likely succeeding the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. With anticipation building, Xiaomi has been teasing the design aspects of the Xiaomi 14, and a company executive’s recent post even suggests that its bezels will be narrower than those on the iPhone 15 Pro.

In a Weibo post, Xiaomi provided a sneak peek at the design of the upcoming Xiaomi 14, offering some intriguing details ahead of its imminent launch. The device is confirmed to feature a 6.36-inch ultra-narrow edge straight display screen. Xiaomi has showcased at least a white color variant for the Xiaomi 14, boasting a Paris nail texture design. The company has also shared camera shots from the upcoming smartphone, giving a glimpse of its photography capabilities.

Another notable revelation comes from Xiaomi Phones Product Manager Cici Lao Wei, who mentioned that the Xiaomi 14 will sport “an extremely narrow four-width design.” The chin of the device is slated to be a mere 1.71mm thin, while the bezels on the other three sides are expected to measure just 1.61mm each, making them even slimmer than those on the iPhone 15 Pro.

According to previous reports, the Xiaomi 14 is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. This powerful chipset will be paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The device is expected to house a 4,600mAh battery and offer a versatile charging experience, featuring 90W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
