OPPO has officially launched the new Mid Range A Series phone OPPO A78 5G phone in Malaysia. In addition, the OPPO A78 5G phone will be launched in India on January 14, so it is likely that it will be sold in other countries later.

The OPPO A78 5G phone will be similar in design to the OPPO A58 5G phone that was introduced in November 2022. So, a dual camera setup is used on the back, and in addition to flat design bezels, the front display will include a waterdrop notch.

As for the specifications, the OPPO A78 5G phone has a 6.56″ 90Hz HD+ LCD Display installed, and in terms of performance, the MediaTek Dimensity 700 Chipset, 8GB of RAM, 128GB storage will be included. For those who want to expand the storage, it can be expanded through a microSD card.

The camera will include a dual camea setup with a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP sensor will be used for the front selfie camera. As for the battery, the 5000mAh battery supports 33W fast charging.

Other features include side-mounted fingerprint scanner. 5G Support In addition to the 3.5mm audio jack, IP54 Dust & Water-Resistant Rating will be included. The software will use ColorOS 13 based on Android 13.

The OPPO A78 5G phone has not yet been officially announced at what price it will be sold, but according to early reports, it will be sold for around $230.
